Did you know that plants promote positive energy in your home?
I have to admit until recently, I wasn't a plant person. In fact, when decorating my home I never included plants. I think it's because my intention was to make the room look pretty. And, growing up in the 80's/90's planters lacked design appeal and I didn't think domestic houseplants were all that attractive. Especially, those that grew in weird shapes and sizes across a ceiling with partially dead leaves. Perhaps witnessing this as an adolescent clouded my judgement!
However, because today we are inundated with environmental toxins and stress it's important to create a healthy, positive space in your home. Plants play a huge role in that. They promote positive energy in your home because they keep the air clean and provide more oxygen. As a result, having cleaner air to breath we naturally feel more energetic, healthier and happier.
Further, since filling my home with more plants I feel happier. Caring for them and watching them grow gives me joy. My energy is in fact more positive.
The icing on the cake is that plants are now an accessory in home decor which means that you have many more options to choose from.
