Your lack of happiness may have an underlying cause which can usually translate to past traumatic events or simply, core beliefs. Moreover, looking within can provide the awareness you need in order to take the steps to begin to self-heal (change) which can improve your wellbeing.

2. Change Your Core Beliefs
Your limiting core beliefs may be holding you back from living the life you desire. For instance, if you are struggling with money, health, relationships, achieving goals, self confidence, self worth etc. inhibiting negative core beliefs are blocking you from receiving. 3. Let Go of The Past
Science tells us that our brain is a record of our past. So, it makes sense that our daily thoughts and emotions are based on past emotional experiences. Therefore, how can you make changes and achieve your goals when your choices and your emotions are based on the past. How can you possibly change your life if your brain is hard wired in the past and your body is responding to it?
There are two things you can do to initiate change.

4. Self Acceptance & Self Approval Are The Key To Your Wellbeing
Studies show us that self acceptance is connected with good mental health and indicates an increase in happiness and less depression and anxiety.
Awhile ago it became apparent to me that I struggled with self acceptance. If someone disapproved or judged my choices, I would actually reconsider my decisions or “people please” just to get approval. As a result, I was unhappy and mentally stressed a lot of the time which evidently can lead to illness. So, if you aren't living a life of authenticity (or stuck and unhappy), it can result in constant stress which can affect you mentally and physically.
That's why self acceptance and approval is so important. For example, if you understand who you are, what your strengths and weaknesses are it allows you to see the truth about yourself. Then you are free to change what you can.
